Day 1
You are welcomed aboard your unique, purpose built and air-conditioned bus for departure from West Beach at 7.30 am. We travel through the northern towns of Tarlee, Gladstone and Wilmington to Quorn. After opportunity to inspect this historic town, we follow the main highway to Gordon, then take an interesting detour to Proby’s Grave and Simmonston, “The town that never was”. We rejoin the main road north of Hawker.
Overnight:Rawnsley Park Station

Day 2
After breakfast, we take time to see some of the magnificent sights of the Flinders Ranges and Wilpena Pound. Advantage spots include the Lookouts of Elder Range, Rawnsley and Stokes Hill. The Appealina Ruins are a reminder of the heritage of the area as we continue through Aroona Valley, and The Great Wall Of China to the old copper mining town of Blinman. From here we take the Wirrealpa Road through Eregunda Valley and head north to Gammon National Park and the Ranger Station at Balcanoona. It is then a short journey to Arkaroola - Mt Painter Sanctuary.

Day 3
Wake up to the beautiful majestic scenery which takes in 50,000 hectares of flora and fauna. This morning we experience one of the highlights of this trip - the “Ridge Top Tour”, traversing our way in an open 4WD across some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in Australia. After lunch we visit exciting beauty spots with fascinating names - Old Bolla Bollana copper smelter site, and the Pinnacles.

Day 4
On leaving Arkaroola, we travel to Balcanoona, and enter the Gammon Ranges National Park, passing through Italowie Gorge and Nepabunna to Copley. A deviation along the Moralana Scenic Route provides a fascinating return to Hawker and our overnight accommodation.

Day 5
After a satisfying breakfast, we leave Hawker on our return to Adelaide, stopping at the Kanyaka Ruins before travelling through the towns of Cradock, Carrieton,and Orroroo to Burra. It is a pleasant journey from here through mid north towns to Adelaide.

TRAVEL ROUTINE
Tours depart 4 Southern Avenue West Beach at 7.30am Off street Parking is available We take a break at around 10.30am and stop for lunch between 12.00-1.00pm, and an afternoon break approximately 3.00pm. Other stops are taken for photos, exploring and recreation.

MEDICAL We carry a comprehensive First Aid kit, and have an accredited Senior First Aid staff member on hand on all tours.

Due to the nature of outback travel, and the vast distances involved, anyone with health problems, should give proper consideration to undertaking this trip, and seek their doctor’s advice if necessary.

WHAT YOUR FARE INCLUDES
- All meals from start to finish and hotel accommodation/ meals where indicated. ( Alcoholic drinks are not included).
- Accommodation cost is on a twin share basis, although a single supplement may be available.
- Tour costs do not include additional accommodation, meals and incidental expenses resulting from flooding, natural delays, unavailable connections or other unforeseen circumstances.

TOUR VEHICLES
Travel is in an air-conditioned, purpose built, fully equipped 6 WD bus.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
Comfortable casual clothes, for warm to hot days, and cool to cold nights, stout comfortable shoes, and hat. (Most people bring more clothes than they ever use, so consider carefully, and keep your baggage to a minimum),a camera, with plenty of film and a torch.
